Wind Over Curtains

May 16, 2017 by Ray Yanek

Tree branches scratch their passion

Into the back of the crystal sky

As heat folds through the window screen

And parts the curtains.

Tomorrow and tomorrow,

The next and the later,

Will come when it comes.

But for now

The dancing of your breath across my ear

Is the song of wind over water.
