The Poe with a Thousand Faces

Quick and light today.  I need a little late-week laugh and oddly enough, it was the grim and dismal Edgar Allen Poe that provided that chuckle.

Found this on Facebook and it cracked me up:

Yep, pretty much has it all — The Crow, Game of Thrones, Mel.  Loved it.  The toe is pretty lame, but….

Anyway, the pic appears to have been published originally from timelinefan.com, but I picked it up as a share from one of favorite YouTube channels– Thug Notes.

I think I’ve written about Thug Notes before, but if you’ve never been introduced to Sparky Sweets, Ph.D.  you need to go and talk to him.  NOW.

Sparky Sweets breaks down classical works of literature from a gangsta’s point of view.  The summaries are hilarious and brilliant, but more importantly, the analysis sections are intelligent and thorough.  A great resource for any “well-read balla”.

In sticking with Poe, here’s a link to the Thug Note’s interpretation of The Raven.

Here’s also a link to a Thug Note’s analysis of The Tell-Tale Heart.

Enjoy and have a great weekend!
